Bothwell Lodge Historical Site - just two miles north of the B&B, this unique castle is set on top of three natural caves and built with native rock. Walking trails, picnic areas and a scenic overlook.
Missouri
State Fairgrounds
- The
fairgrounds is six miles from Sedalia House and hosts events
including the two-week State Fair in August, Renaissance Festival, Native American
PowWow,
Midwest Ram Show, horse shows, dog/cat shows and craft shows.
Katy Depot - restored MKT train depot features a railroad museum, gift shop, chamber of commerce offices, and main trailhead along the Katy Trail. Free museum admission.
Daum Contemporary Art Museum - a wonderful collection of paintings, sculptures, ceramics and photography. Features chandelier by Dale Chihuly. Free admission.

Ragtime Festival
- Tribute to King of Ragtime Scott Joplin and his
musical contributions
to Sedalia. World-class entertainers,
concerts, dances and dinners.
